Gothenburg District Court is one of Sweden's largest district courts with approximately 250 employees. The court has six adjudicative divisions and one administrative division. Our mission is to uphold a fair and efficient judicial process of high quality. Working with us is significant and fulfills one of society's most important functions.
The court is located in modern premises at Ullevi in central Gothenburg and is an open and modern workplace with engaged employees. Continuous efforts are being made to develop the operations at the court.
Job Description
The role of Case Manager Chief is an operational leadership role where you lead and follow up on the work in one of the court's divisional offices. Together with your team of approximately 10 court case managers, you will prepare the cases and matters assigned to the division. You have full personnel and work environment responsibility for your employees.
Your immediate supervisor is the chief judge of the division. You will work closely with your immediate supervisor on matters concerning the work in the division. You will also be part of a group of middle managers with a court-wide mandate. Your task is to collaborate with each other on development issues and to assist each other during peak workloads, all to achieve the court's overarching goals of efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
We want you to have at least a three-year upper secondary education, preferably supplemented with relevant post-secondary education in social sciences or law. We also want you to have experience working as a court case manager in a general court. It is advantageous to have worked as a case manager chief or in a similar operational leadership role. It is also beneficial to have had extended responsibilities as a court case manager, for example by being a qualified court case manager.
You enjoy varied tasks and can both lead and participate in the operational work. It is required that you, as a leader, have the ability to take responsibility for driving processes forward and can make correct assessments and priorities. It is of great importance that you can engage and motivate your employees towards common goals. As a leader, you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness.

Employment Conditions
Start date is August 1 or by agreement.
The employment is full-time and concerns a temporary position for 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
